Campaign for Democracy (CD) has expressed regrets at the passing unto glory, of one of its pioneer member, Comrade Yinka Odumakin, the husband of Dr. (Activist) Joe Odumakin.
In a statement by the General Secretary of Campaign for Democracy (CD) Pastor Ifeanyi Odili, CD regrets the passage, of the human rights titan.
He said: “We, (all members of Campaign for Democracy CD) are sober, we are really sad about the sudden departure of our comrade, pioneer member of CD, Comrade Yinka Odumakin who transited to another realm today. May the good Lord accept our prayers on his behalf. Amen.
To his wife, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, we want you to know that no one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that Comrade Yinka is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Our deepest condolences to you, loved ones and your family.
