Zainab Aliyu joins NDLEA

Zainab Aliyu was that young girl who few years ago was caught in Saudi Arabia with her bags stuffed with hard drugs. Zainab who narrowly escaped been killed for the offence which was a capital one in Saudi Arabia was later found to have been roped by a drugs cartel which had unknown to her stuffed her bag with the drugs, using her as a courier to the Saudi.

Zainab who drew international attention to her plight at the time, was eventually let off the hook and soon returned home to resume her schoolings.

Same Zainab Aliyu at the weekend was among the new cadets who graduated and commissioned into the elite corps of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) School.

Zainab Aliyu who was accompanied by her parent and other family members was beaming with smiles as she was commended for turning was would have been tragic to a pleasant story.
