The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives Candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has re-echoed his resolve to further ensure even wealth distribution amongst constituents and electorates across the constituency if elected.

Oshinowo whose worthy feat resonates through out Kosofe Federal Constituency and beyond while holding forte as Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Executive Chairman, stated his poise to enhance the holistic well-being of constituents.

The APC flag bearer for the House of Representatives in Kosofe Mayor Dele Oshinowo made this assertion on Sunday at a thanksgiving and special prayer session organised by the members of the Kosofe Muslim Awareness Forum in collaboration with Abdulwahid Islamic Foundation, Coalition of Affiliated Asalatu Groups and Ase- Oluwa Multipurpose Cooperative Society to spiritually chart a path for Oshinowo to attain landslide victory at polls come 2027 general elections.

Oshinowo said,“ I fulfilled my duties as Council Chairman and will not fail you as your Federal Lawmaker. I remain committed and faithful to you my constituents, given the trust reposed in me, your expectations will be certainly met once I get elected to office.

“In retrospection of my tenure as the Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), I have been able to garner deep and profound understanding of the intricate requirements essential for facilitating effective governance.

“This experience uniquely positions me to serve your needs with diligence and integrity.

“I remain solidly committed and dedicated to combatting poverty there are series of innovative initiatives uniquely designed to foster your financial independence.

“You are all living witnesses to my vision for economic empowerment in time past, this will be sustained and upgraded on a federal scale, I urge you to actively play your parts in ensuring APC candidates victory at the general elections come 2027, that in essence is the significance of collective action in governance, as good governance is a shared responsibility.

“The achievements we have garnered in the past resonate strongly, but it is imperative that you consolidate your votes behind the APC to empower me to effectively advocate for your needs in Abuja.” Oshinowo said.

The acceptability of the candidate was evidently affirmed by the presence of prominent stakeholders within Kosofe polity these includes; Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, her counterpart from Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Hon. (Mrs.) Adetola Abubakar; Dr. Murtala Seriki, the APC House of Assembly candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2; and Mr. Tosin Ashafa, Director of Operations for the City Boy Movement, Lagos State Chapter.

They all took turns to celebrate the fact that Mayor Dele Oshinowo had been a shining example and an enviable ambassador of grassroots governance, adding that his eventual emergence at the federal legislative level will attract rapid developments to the constituency and constituents.

Several beneficiaries of his past benevolence, were also on hand to recount how impactful he has been, noting that with him at the House of Representatives greater goods will come their way.

Oshinowo also received many awards at the special gathering, the award segment was breast-taped by Alhaja Sanusi Fausat, the proprietor of Scholars’ Circle Schools, who honored Mayor Oshinowo with a special award in recognition of his steadfast support for initiatives aimed at assisting out-of-school children at her institution, thereby contributing towards their educational development.

Engineer Afeez Rahman also conferred an award upon Mayor Dele Oshinowo in recognition of his dedication to grassroots development and his distinctive contributions to the Abdulwahid Islamic Foundation over the past decade.

Moreover, the Ase-Oluwa Multipurpose Cooperative Society expressed their gratitude to Mayor Dele Oshinowo for his instrumental role in fostering the establishment of their financial organization, which has provided crucial support to the community.

Additionally, Imam AbdulGaniyu Mustapha, a respected elder in the community, publicly acknowledged Mayor Oshinowo’s timely assistance during a distressing period when he experienced the loss of his home to fire, underscoring the Mayor’s compassionate leadership during times of crisis.

Also the Programme Convener, Abdulwaheed Odunuga stated that, “Oshinowo has demonstrated a consistent record of public service anchored on delivery, innovation, and accountability.

“This has placed him in a leading position among aspirants across political divides.

“His tenure as Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Executive Chairman provides a credible governance framework that can be effectively translated into legislative representation at the federal level.

“Oshinowo’s tenure as council chairman was marked by notable achievements, including the development of housing estates, resolution of community disputes, construction of community stadia, and transformation of markets into modern facilities.

“ I urge all constituents of Kosofe federal constituency to prioritise competence, integrity, and proven performance in the electoral process, your civic participation will make this a reality so come out enmasse and cast your vote for him come 2027.”
