The APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is billed to return to the country on Saturday from France.
The former governor of Lagos broke the news of his impending return on his Twitter page. He said that he would arrive Nigeria in the early hours of Saturday.
Flight from France to Nigeria normally takes nine hours.
Tinubu had travelled out of the country on June 27, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
He travelled to Paris, France to hold some important meetings, his spokesman, Tunde Rahman had said in a statement.
On June 8, Tinubu emerged the Presidential candidate of APC for the February 25, 2023 election at the party’s presidential primaries/national convention held at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
After the election, he immediately embarked on a series of thank you and reconciliation visits to those who contested against him at the party’s primaries including the seven aspirants who stepped down for him.
