Nigeria’s entertainment industry took a major punch on Saturday as soar away hip hop artiste Davido who recently cancelled his American music tour confirmed on Saturday that his fiancé Chioma, has tested positive of Coronavirus.
Chioma who returned to the country from London, with their baby, according to the artiste, tested positive. She was the only one whose result was positive out of 31 others that submitted themselves for the COVID-19 test. Davido’s baby was also tested negative.
Announcing this development on his official Instagram Page Davidoofficial, Davido appreciated all his fans for their love and concern.
He said though Chioma has not began to manifest any symptoms of the sickness, she has been quarantined,, while he too will begin an isolation regime for at least 14 days as advised by the doctors.
