Team Egypt has advanced to the main draw of the World Team Championships following a commanding 3-0 victory against continental rivals Nigeria in the preliminary round of the Men’s Team.
Egypt’s breakthrough came after finishing second in Group 11 with five points, just one behind leaders Kazakhstan. That set up a decisive clash with Nigeria for a place in the last 32, where Egypt’s depth and quality proved decisive.
