Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has admitted that the time has come for his team to win the Premier League title.
Speaking to the press before Arsenal’s Premier League tie with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, Arteta made the admission and gave the reason behind it as well.
The Spaniard was asked by a journalist in a press conference (via Football London): “FC Zurich manager Bo Henriksen said it’s about time Arsenal won the Premier League title, do you agree?”
Arteta responded in the affirmative: “It is about time because it has been so long. I completely agree with him and we have to earn the time to be there.
“We have done so far, but there is still a long season ahead of us.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal will go top of the Premier League table if they beat Chelsea on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
