“I just came back from China yesterday to look at what is obtainable there. I was in Europe and I visited about 11 countries within November and December to see what is obtainable there, and these are the kind of things we are trying to bring on board with international best practices.
“We want to make sure we set it right now that the government is looking for a partnership. We will continue to put this forward and encourage the government to participate. It is not enough for the private sector, like us, to be putting our resources in without sponsorships. We are trying to partner with the government and enhance whatever policy the government is trying to bring on board.
“Because if we don’t have a holistic transport policy, we will be joking and we won’t get it right. We must design our transport policy to meet our national interest, and that is how we begin to get it right and bring everybody together so that we can achieve the desired result.”
