Lagos Arewa Community pledge total support for APC candidates, demand more empowerment

The Arewa Community in the Lagos APC have endorsed all candidates of the across the Lagos West Senatorial District and presidency come 2023 elections, pledging an unalloyed loyalty to the party.

Engineer Sa’adu Yusuf Dandare Gulma the Lagos state Chairman Arewa community re-echoed their resolve to give maximum support to all the candidates of APC in the up coming general election, stating that they have all been kind to Arewa in time past, it is pay back time.

Speaking at the Lagos West Senatorial District, Arewa official endorsement programme for all APC candidates, held within Rt.Hon Mudashiru Obasa’s constituency office over the weekend the Arewa Community helmsman who doubles as the Chairman Coordinating Arewa Southwest galvanized support base for the candidates with actual eligible voters all showing their Permanent Voters Cards.

“ We pledge our support by today’s endorsement of all our candidates across the divide, we have our PVCS and are going to vote enmasse.

“We however, need more empowerment if we had 10 percent before we will be glad to have it increased to 50 percent.

“We want to work in an harmonized manner. I also urge us many PVCS are yet to be collected, and we are much aware alk about the process requires strict compliance.

“Moreso I want all our members to embrace change, it is the permanent solution, let’s improve ourselves through the skills acquisition initiative afforded by this government.

At the well attended parley, leaders of all the Arewa blocs in Lagos: Fulani, Tiv,Igala,Idoma,Kanuri,Shuwa Arab and more all affirmed that Engineer Sa’adu made it possible for Arewa to be in the same camp in the state, citing the ACME parley as a testimonial given the mammoth crowd that attended.

Some of the candidates jostling for a seat at the state and National Assembly especially in Agege federal constituency, Hon. Jubril Abdulkareem vying for Agege 2 constituency seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly and Hon.Wale Ahmed Agege Federal Constituency at the House of Reps were there and then endorsed, same applies for former Deputy governor Dr Idiat Adebule vying for the Lagos West Senatorial District seat.

The Woman Leader Arewa Lagos Barrister Fatimah Ladi Bako note that most of the kind mien of the candidates in time past are well appreciated and that much more is expected from them when they eventually emerge victorious at polls.

According to Bako, “ this is the time we have no other,the real party is the APC and Jagaban Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will rescue Nigeria, we will not sleep until we deliver.
“We want you to get there first, keep to your promise it is not about what you want to give us now.

Hon. Jubril Abdulkareem who represented Rt.Hon Mudashiru Obasa at the forum, promised to deliver their message to the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, while pledging that they will continue to reward loyalty. “ As you keep standing with APC, progressive, leaders and Lagos will continually be with you.”

The Assistant Welfare officer of Lagos APC Mr. Coker popularly known as Dodomayana was on hand to corroborate the stance of many stakeholders present, while noting that Agege Federal constituency will get a better representation more than ever before.
