This initiative is part of the Lagos State Government’s THEMES+ agenda, ensuring that no one is left behind, especially the elderly and the physically challenged.

“Our new stair lift is not just a piece of equipment; it’s a state-of-the-art mobility solution designed to help those who need assistance to navigate the stairs safely and comfortably. This reflects our ongoing commitment to providing a positive experience for everyone who visits or works with us,” LASWA’s General Manager, Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel stated in a a statement signed by its Public Affairs Officer, Mrs Nkechi Ajayi.

“We believe that accessing public spaces should never be a challenge for anyone. This stair lift is just one step toward creating a friendly and welcoming environment. We’re dedicated to ensuring that using Lagos waterways and our services is easy and accessible for everyone.”

This stair lift is part of LASWA’s wider effort to improve our facilities, prioritizing safety, convenience, and exceptional service, he further stated.
