Lekki Free Zone Investors Seek Collaboration with Ministry of Transportation

A delegation from Lekki Worldwide Investment Limited (LWIL), paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation to explore opportunities for collaboration.

Leading the delegation, Managing Director,LWIL, Mr. Niyi Akinlusi expressed the company’s commitment to working closely with the Ministry to enhance the viability and operational efficiency of the Free Zone.

In response, the Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, highlighted the challenges the Ministry faces in implementing key interventions and regulatory frameworks in the port corridor. He urged the LWIL team to consider investing in critical infrastructure to support the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in improving traffic flow and overall mobility in the area.

The LWIL delegation assured the Ministry of its willingness to collaborate and promised to share insights into the Free Zone’s master plan to align efforts for a more seamless transportation network.
