The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has announced December 22, 2021, as the new date for the 15th annual town hall meeting with Governor Babajide SanwoOlu.

The town hall meeting had earlier been scheduled to take place today December 9.

LSSTF’s Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun, who announced the change in a statement, blamed the postponement on “pressing state matters” of the governor.

Balogun said the meeting would still take place at the Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

While assuring all invited guests and other stakeholders that the event will hold in strict adherence to all COVID-19 protocols, Abdurrazaq apologised for any disruption the change in date might have caused invitees.

LSSTF was a special purpose vehicle through which the Lagos State Government has continued to intervene in providing alternate funding to Nigeria Police.

Established 15 years ago, the LSSTF has maintained the tradition of meeting with the state Governor, at a Town Hall Meeting with its major partners, Organised Private Sector (OPS) and High Networth persons who yearly fund its operations via donations and sponsorships.
