A yet-to-be-identified knife-wielding man stabbed two persons, and later stabbed himself, with one fighting for life at a Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal, North-west London.
The site of the incident was locked down for more than two hours after armed policemen stormed the hospital, Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.
The suspect who is also fighting for his life was arrested at the scene with what were believed to be ‘self-inflicted injuries’, the Met said.
Inside, officers found two people with stab wounds, one of which is being treated as life-threatening, while the second is being classified as minor.
Authorities said no other suspects were being hunted, amid false claims that there was a second attacker at large.
