MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced the return of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show for its 11th season, with auditions for the new season to begin soon.
The announcement was made via a post on the official Big Brother Naija Instagram page on Tuesday, where the organizers confirmed that preparations for the upcoming season are already underway. The post, which read, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer? Auditions soon,” has left fans eagerly awaiting more details.
However, MultiChoice has not yet revealed specifics on the audition dates, locations, or the premiere schedule. It is also unclear whether this year’s auditions will return to a fully physical format, remain virtual, or adopt a hybrid approach.
For the 2025 season, a hybrid model was used, starting with online submissions followed by in-person screenings in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu states. The online audition process, which was introduced in the fourth season of 2019, aimed to reach potential contestants who were unable to attend physical auditions.
Opeyemi ‘Imisi’ Ayanwale emerged as the winner of the 2025 season, walking away with the grand prize of N80 million and a brand new SUV. Ayanwale triumphed over 28 other housemates to claim the N150 million prize.
In the 2024 season, contestants participated in auditions as pairs, with Kellyrae emerging victorious to claim the grand prize.
With the excitement building for season 11, all eyes are on the official announcements from MultiChoice as fans eagerly await the start of another thrilling season of BBNaija.
