…reaffirms poise to hold on to constituent’s mandate
The campaign organisation of Hon Mosunmola Sangodara , Lagos State house of Assembly member representing Surulere constituency 2 have called on the general public to disregard the viral social media news on their candidate’s certificate in Lagos.
The chairman of the organisation, Barrister Ahmed Lawal , have called on seasoned journalist to always do their findings before embarking on writing news that might attract legal attention.
“We have seen the story some days back , on Facebook handles we approached the party and the handler, who acclaimed it was a news sent to him by some unknown enemy of democracy, the party have done their findings and our candidate have being duly screened toward the forth coming election.
“We are not surprised as they have being going about making sure they dent her image because she refused to succumb to their demands, we are not distracted neither shall we relent in our drive to make the people of Surulere constituency get better representation on the red floor of the Lagos hallow chamber”
“The campaign organisation hereby called on the perpetrators to desist from these untoward acts or risk being made to face the full wrath of the law.
”We can not sit and see people tarnishing our candidate’s image with different news just because she refuses to respond to the malicious act of blackmail.
“Therefore if anyone have any issues with our candidate while not seek court redress instead of showing your shameful act on social media, “Lawal said.
The group also harped on the fact that a press release have being placed on the social media space to clarify everything by the party, adding that the national leader of the APC Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other Candidates had also passed through same fate, while assuring the people of Surulere constituency 2 that our mandate stand and it is sacrosanct come 2023 .
