A group under the aegis of The CSOs STRATEGISTS has called for more support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led administration, citing records of positive development as basis for their stance.

In a statement signed by Comrade Ahmed Balogun convener of CSOs STRATEGISTS, a coalition of eight Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), the group highlighted all the great moves initiated by PBAT which has translated to great gains for Nigeria.

According to the coalition, given the government’s bold steps geared towards changing the nation’s dwindling economic narratives for just 18 months, things are taking shape, with visible accolades from within and outside the country for the PBAT led government.

“We use this opportunity to call on all Nigerians, wherever, irrespective of creed, nationalities, religion, social status, even partisan affiliations, to ” buy-in” into the” Renewed Hope Agenda ” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“He is obviously pursuing the management of the nation’s affairs as a rare statesman with mission to single-mindedly build a modern, civilized, democratic nation beneficial to all.

“On assumption of office in May 2023, Mr. President hit the ground running, leaving no one in doubt that he has necessary courage to carry out needed socio-economic reforms.

The CSOs STRATEGISTS cited amongst others bold policy reforms like; fuel subsidy removal, exchange market liberalisation, minimum wage increase, social welfare package through cash transfer to 25 million people in form of wealth distribution.

Also, the local government autonomy, establishment of regional development commission across the six geo political zones and many more as great steps noticed by notable bodies in other climes.

“All these reforms, in just about 18 months, have invariably began to bear fruits. For instance, a global platform, the ” World Affairs of America nominated ten Best Leaders on Earth, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made the list as the only Black African Man.

“The economy has now been stabilised. The prices of petroleum products, foods items and other commodities gradually coming down.

He also facilitated many more goods,“Boost of The Manufacturing Sector – N75 Billion Funds allocated to the comatose manufacturing sector at 9% per annum interest rate to strengthen the sector between July 2023 and March, 2024.

“N125 Billion Grant to Energize MSME – This Grant to the Small and Medium Enterprises shall have on the totality of the wellbeing of citizens. Many would be able to climb out of the bracket of unemployment to become employers of labour.

“Food Security and Sovereignty – 225,000 metric tones of fertilizer, seedlings and other inputs were made available to farmers to boost the nation’s ailing Agricultural sector.

“It is worth noting that since return of democratic governance, President Tinubu is the first to enjoy the cooperation and support of all State Governors across party lines.

“This is why State Governments in Nigeria buy in to his agricultural vision by prioritising mechanised agriculture and large-scale farming that will give rise not only to food security but also agro-allied industries, creating solid base for sustainable development in Nigeria.

“A mid – term survey also showed him as the leading political public figure in the country.

“Even the business mongul, Aliko Dangote hailed Mr. President for possessing an avant-garde grasp of the economy with his ” Crude for Naira Swap” policy.

“This Day Newspaper recognized the President as the ” Man of the Year 2024″, just as a seemingly critical media, Arise TV.

“We are confident to call for unqualified, unambiguous support by all Nigerians for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

PBAT’s uncommon swerve in ensuring zero tolerance for insecurity and terrorism as well as for corruption also tops the chart.
