  • Set to galvanize massive votes for party’s candidates ahead Saturday’s election

By Olanrewaju Adesanya

The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area Lagos State are set to launch Tinubu 2027 Re-election Team.

The stakeholders who met at the residence of the Lisa of Egba Land, Chief Yomi Olaogun on Monday, said their aim is to mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election in 2027.

Leading the team, former lawmaker who represented Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency Hon. James Owolabi highlighted the various landmark projects of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as reasons he should be re-elected for the second term in office in 2027.

“Tinubu presidency is a blessing to the entire Nigerians, the various initiatives should be allowed to see the light of the day” says Owolabi.

Speaking on the side-line with newsmen, former commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development Lagos State Dr. Idris Salako said the infrastructural deficits being handled by the Tinubu led presidency is beyond human comprehension, and should not be allowed to be cut short by enemies of the country in the name of a coalition that lacks the blueprint of what exactly they want to address in nation building.

He said, “The Lagos Calabar Costal Road, Badagry Sokoto 100 Kilometers Road Project, Enugu PortHarcourt Road, Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expassion Road, EastWest Township Road.

“Students Loan, Youth Empowerment, 774 Mortgage Housing Projects, and other various initiatives embarked upon by President Bola Tinubu requires 8 years to be solidified.

Hence, we must all ensure we sensitize our people and orientate them to go back and mobilize from street to street, house-to-house and ensure President Tinubu’s Gospel is preached across the nooks and crannies of Lagos State, that is the mandate we got and we shall delivered on it.” Dr Salako concluded.

The stakeholders also used the gathering to drum support for the APC Chairmanship candidate Barr. Adenike Rosiji and all the Seven wards councillors.

Hon. Emmanuel Olotu the Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Ifako Ijaiye constituency 2, tasked party’s faithful to vote massively for their candidates adding that this Saturday July 12 election is a litmus test for 2027 general elections.

“This Saturday 12th of July 2025 local Government elections is the foundation that we are going to build upon, as a team we are all behind the party candidates and we shall ensure massive votes is garnered, because as stakeholders we are seeing this as a test to what we will be able to pull at the polls come 2027.

So, therefore we are not going to joke with this council elections we will do all we can to mobilize massively come Saturday 12th July.” Hon. Olotu concluded.

The stakeholders further picked Thursday July 10th 2025 for the official launch of the Tinubu 2027 Group in Ojokoro LCDA.

Also present at the stakeholders engagement are;  Chairman APC Ojokoro Hon. Jelili Oseni, Former Managing Director Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency Mr Bolaji Sanusi.

Others include, Apex leader Ojokoro LCDA and the Lisa of Egba Land High Chief Yomi Olaogun, First Executive Chairman Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Hon. Otunba A. A. Akindele among others.
