Issuance of 2nd Tertiary Scholarship Scheme to the host communities at Ibeju Lekki by Lekki Freeport Terminal

To ensure the sustainability of the existing relationship with the host communities, Lekki Freeport Terminal ( LFT), under the leadership of Capt Jedrzej Mierzewski CEO LFT, disbursed the sum of N2,000,000 naira as scholarship stipend to 20 students from the host communities in Nigerian public universities.

Capt Jedrzej Mierzewski reiterated that education is the bedrock to opportunities and reassured the students of Lekki Freeport Terminal willingness to partner with them and the community at Large

Also, Fubara Awanta GM Govt Relations & Security stated that the terminal is committed to managing the CSR | scholarship expectations of the communities to ensure that the business continuity plan of the terminal is seamless.

Lekki Freeport Terminal is a business entity in the CMA- CGM Group.
LFT is currently the only container terminal operator with a 45-year sub-concession agreement from Lekki Port, situated in Lagos Free Zone.
