In it’s bid to shore up support base for the All Progressive Congress governorship candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo at the forthcoming Kogi State gubernatorial election slated for November 11,2023, a group Coalition of Progressives
led by an APC Chieftain Engr. Muritala Audu has embarked on massive awareness tour round the state.
The group in it’s sensitization tour across Kogi State intends to bolster the political fortune of the APC guber candidate Ododo, through direct interface with critical sectors and stakeholders.
The group’s Convener who is also the Aare Atunluse Omoluwabi Oodua Worldwide was particular about getting the blessings of the royal father’s and traditional rulers, citing them as the drivers of community development.
The group’s first port of call was Kogi Central Senatorial District where the Audu led group visited the Traditional Rulers, Civil Society groups and other Community Development associations to drum support for Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo aspiration.
Among the dignitaries visited is the paramount ruler of Ebiraland, Alhaji Dr. Ado Ibrahim CON. Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
His Majesty appreciated the group’s visit and commended the Convener Engr Muritala Salau Audu for his zeal and commitment for seeing the need to key into this laudable project, that will sustain the developmental stride of Gov. Yahaya Bello administration in Kogi State and assured the group of his total support.
Other dignitaries visited are: Ohi of Okene, Ohi of Okengwe, Ohi of Ihima, Ohi of Ajaokuta, Adogu of Eganyi, Obobanyi of Ihima, Ogusube of Ezure and Otaro of Akeka in Ogori-Magongo LGA.
The group continued the visitation to the family house of the Executive Governor of Kogi State in Agassa and was received by the elder brother of his Excellency Alh. Muhammed Bello, where he prayed for the group and success of this project.
He however, urged the group to continue the good work it has started, also visited is the family house of Kogi State APC guber candidate in Upogoro districts of Okene LGA where the group was received with a rousing welcome.
