…urges Motorists to stop damaging the facilities or face the wrath of the law
The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion at Fadeyi inward Donmanlong and Donmanlong inward Ojuelegba, between Saturday 10th January by 10pm and Sunday 11th January, 2026 by 6am for the installation of truck barriers.
Consequently, motorists are advised to use the highlighted route during the night time installation of the barriers;
Motorists from Fadeyi Donmanlong Bridge/Ayilara inbound Ojuelegba are to make use of the Service Lane from Fadeyi/Jibowu/Empire/Donmanlong to link Barracks to access their desired destinations.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi while imploring Motorists to be patient at the installation area stated that the brief closure of the bridge was planned for night time as part of traffic management strategy to avert further accidents and loss of lives.
He further urged Motorists to stop vandalization and damage of the barriers.
