Ahead of the commissioning of The Fresh Food Hub, Agege, by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Transportation, is issuing this advisory to motorists and residents.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, is scheduled to hold tomorrow, Wednesday, 12 August, 2026, between 11:00 am and 3:00pm, at Pen Cinema, Agege.
Due to the high volume of vehicular and human traffic expected around the Pen Cinema–Agege axis on account of the event, motorists plying this route are advised to plan their movement ahead of time to reduce congestion and delay.
As is routine for events of this nature, officers of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will be deployed to manage traffic flow and minimize inconvenience to road users within the axis and its environs. Motorists are enjoined to cooperate with officials on duty.
Motorists and commuters are advised to use alternative routes where possible during the period of the event and to exercise patience while transiting the area.
The State Government regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all road users as it continues to deliver projects that improve the livelihood of Lagosians.
