Ajose, aged 79, a former  Lagos Head of Service, died on January 16.

Obanikoro, who was chairman of the late APC chieftain’s burial planning committee, said Ajose was a core party man who did all for the growth of the party in Badagry and beyond.

The former minister said Ajose was a believer in fairness and a fighter for justice.

“The late politician was a proud man who always fight for the progress of Badagry Division,” Obanikoro, a member of Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), in the state, said.

Also speaking, Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), said Ajose lived a very impactful and exemplary life.

According to her, the late APC chieftain touched many lives and empowered many people in Badagry.

Also speaking at the well-attended programme, Chairman, Badagry Local Government Area, Mr Olusegun Onilude, said politicians in the town should work hard to fill the vacuum created by Ajose’s death.

He urged elective office holders to learn from the contributions of the late politician to the development of Badagry.

Mr Idowu Rasulu, the Chairman, Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos, said the former GAC member was a father and leader in the entire Badagry Division.

Mr Babatunde Hunpe, the immediate past lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said the vacuum left by Ajose’s death would be very hard to fill.
