The National Conference of Directors/Chief Road Traffic Officers of the Federation is pleased to announce the launch of its pre-event conversation series, as a build up to the 2024 National Conference of Directors of VIOs, scheduled to take place place from the 28th -30th October 2024 in Minna, Niger State.

The first in the series, which takes place on August 15, 2024, focuses on the critical topic of “Standardization and Harmonization of Vehicle Testing and Licensing: Issues and the Way Forward” will take place via the Zoom platform.

The event is envisioned to bringing together experts and stakeholders in the Vehicle Inspection Service, Motor Vehicle Administration sub-sector to explore the latest developments and best practices in Standardization and Harmonization of Vehicle Inspection, Testing and Licensing.

The Webinar will have the host of the national conference, Engr. (Dr.) Bako, Danladi Mohammed, the Executive Director of Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, Minna, Niger State, a renowned expert in transportation management with extensive experience in Motor Vehicle Administration and Licensing as the Guest Speaker.

He will share his insights on the importance of standardization and harmonization in ensuring road safety, security and enhancing revenue as well as the overall efficiency of the transportation system.

The webinar is designed for Directors, Chief Road Traffic Officers, transportation officials, Motor Vehicle Inspection and Licensing professionals, and other stakeholders in the transportation sector.

Goodwill messages will be received from sponsors and partners including Drivers & Vehicle Testing Services (DVTS), National Association of Road Transport Owners, (NARTO), U-Group, Plate Detect and Autovin.
