The Vehicle Inspection Service Lagos, gives thumbs up to the organisers of the just concluded West Africa Automotive Show, says its not easy to draw manufacturers from different parts of the world to come and exhibit their products in Africa especially Nigeria and Lagos.
The Director, Vehicle Inspection Service Lagos (VIS), Akin George Fashola, said on our own side, we are looking at partnering with manufacturers and suppliers for our own programs in Lagos State in order to collaborate and modernize the activities of auto mechanics in Lagos State.
Yes we know that the accessibility to auto spare parts is expensive but at least with what has been displayed here in the exhibition one could be able to get a genuine auto spare parts which will make the work of a mechanic easier.
The Director also advised the organizers to look into partnering with government auto agencies for next edition because there is no limitation to what we can achieve because the potential is there.
