Following the Lagos Court judgement on Popular cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, Popular Nigerian Pastor, Idowu Bankole have taken to social media to react to the development.

Bankole expressed his feeling in a tweet he shared on his handle on Friday.

Bankole described Bobrisky’s judgement as “miscarriage of justice”.

He however, said that the cross-dresser was being used as a scapegoat because of his identity.

Bankole wrote in his tweet: “The Judge was visibly angry, and so slammed maximum sentence on the popular cross dresser, without fine. Why? when she pleaded guilty?.

“This is wickedness and Bobrisky doesn’t deserve this miscarriage of justice. She is apparently being used as a scapegoat because of her identity!.

“I totally condemn this selective and cherry picking justice system in Nigeria, where some people are more equal than others. I stand rock- solid with Mummy of Lagos and I call on all LGBTQ communities and well meaning
Nigerians to condemn this judgement against Bobrisky”, he wrote.
